Wiring insanity
So I've been pouring over these forums all last night and this morning and can't seem to find the exact information I'm looking for. First of all I'll list what I have:
'08 Fit LX (Canadian Model) (Has Aux jack installed)
Clarion DXZ585USB
Best Kits BHA1722 Wiring Harness (for 2006-Up Honda Civic)
Best Kits BAA28 Antenna Adapter
On the Clarion harness I have the following wires (minus speaker wires)
Brown (Phone Mute lead)
Yellow with 15A fuse (Memory backup lead)
Yellow with 3A fuse (Bus power lead)
Red (Power lead)
Blue/White (Amplifier turn-on lead)
Black (Ground)
Orange/White (Illumination)
Blue (Auto antenna lead)
The Brown, Blue/White, and Blue all have a crimped connector on the end covered with a clear plastic sheath
therefore I cannot join these to bare wires. It looks like I would need a plug on the other end (from harness adapter)
The Black wire has the standard ground screw mount piece (U shaped that fits around a screw)
On the Best Kits wiring harness I have the following wires (again minus the speaker wires)
Red (12V Ignition/Acc)
Yellow (12V Battery/Memory)
Black (Ground)
Orange (Illumination)
On the Best Kits Antenna Adapter I have a blue wire and a large plug
The wires that I cannot connect because I do not have a corresponding connection are:
Brown (don't need it anyways)
Yellow with 15A fuse
Blue/White
Blue
I've wired everything up that I can but I don't get any power to the HU :-(
Have I been sold the wrong harness? I noticed on the back of the factory hu there were 2 large harnesses, one was the one I've been wiring up and the other one has 5 wires coming out of it (capable of holding a lot more). They are green, black white, blue, yellow, red. As I mentioned before, could this be the AUX jack that I have installed? (Although why are there 5 wires?)
With regards to the blue antenna connection, on the Clarion HU it has a crimped connector on it but on the BK adapter it's just a stripped wire. Do I need to crimp a connector on it?
I notice that the Scosche harness has more wires on it but it also says it's for a 2006 Civic
I've also used this diagram here to help with wiring.
I'm lost at what to do next and was hoping for some help here. I can take pictures if anyone needs something clarified.
Thanks!

I actually got it to work! All I did was swap the two yellow wires (originally had the one with the 3A fuse on it but put the 15A fused wire on instead).
The antenna wire still needs to be attached though because the reception is really poor now. I'll either have to cut off the connector on the Clarion harness or find a male plug to crimp on the end of the antenna adapter.
I'm still concerned about the wires that aren't pinned on the harness adapter though. There is about 16 wires on the Fit plug and only 12 on the adapter. Does anyone know what these ones are for?

Thanks martymcfly, I did check out that post previously as well.
The things that were confusing me were the fact that the scosche harness had more wires than mine (pink, brown, etc).
I'm going to have to rig something together to connect the blue wires but as far as I can tell, everything else works.
I just don't know why the connector from the Fit has more wires than the harness adapter I have. (16 vs 12). Shouldn't you be able to hook up all of the wires to an aftermarket HU if it supports it?

Hook up Both yellow wires, Cut the connector offf the solid blue wire, and wire that to the antenna adapter, the brown does not get used. the blue/white is to turn on an amplifier, if you have no amp, it does not get used.
Finally got all of the wiring hooked up and everything works great (had the airbag light on and realized that I forgot to plug it back in! oops)
Now all I need to do is getting the top right corner to fit (and I've seen the majority of the posts on here about it). Just need to get some OEM clips (lost a bunch in the stock removal process).
