Amp/Sub Problem... PLease Help...

i have TWO 12 Inch Kicker CVR's

Running off of a SOny Xplod 1200 Watt Amp...

Now only one of the subs is giving real bass the other is barly giving off any sound... what could this be?

is my sub blown?
is it my amp?

if its the one sub i am thinking of just buying a mono block and running one sub, if i do this what would be the best KICKER amp to get? thanks

Budget up to $200...

who installed it is it and also do u have a aftermarket stereo could if it is hooked to the stock stereo could be your hi/low converter is not adjusted right.
or if its after market could be your wire to your woofers aren't right

i agree with him ^

if the amp was bad, bith speakers would do the same thing.

also FYI, continuous use of your subs while one is blown can cause the other one to blow from excessive unused air space in the box (if its not divided).

I had a shop install it for me...

i am using a LOC...
to a Clarion EQ (Clarion EQS746 7-Band Graphic EQ/Crossover)
to a Sony Xpold AMP (Sony Xplod Xm SD46X)--> TWO 12 inch CVRS
to a Boss 4 Channel AMP (does the trick) --> FOUR 6.5 Inch Kicker Components (Kicker DS600.2)

well it was fine for about 2 months then i just started having this problem... The original problem that was occurring was one side of the speakers would go off, then both rears turned off... this was happening while using the radio and then when using the AUX function on the Clarion EQ...

My subs are in separate boxes, but thanks for the info...

Crossover point? not familiar with that if u mean the LOW PASS FREQUENCY i have it at 90 Hz
and the gains ar just around 60%

Blown Coil that BLOWS, haha...
i hooked up the one sub that was giving me problems and it would catch bass sometimes but the rest of the time it was just not giving and lows at all...

Thanks for all the help...

unplug the rca to that speaker plug to the other one see if there is any difference because rca's can also get messed up
