Sonic Electronix - Crappy Service

This is my first time dealing with this company, and my last. I just ordered a Pioneer AVIC F90BT from these guys because they have the best price I could find.

Well guess what, they are like Fry's Eletronics ... good deals, crappy service, unknowledgeable customer reps, and overall it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Here's the deal and I'll keep this very short. I have a client who wanted this within 3 business days, I used a 2 day shipping. Sonic Electronix sends me an email for some type of verification ... I assume it's a credit card verification because my online purchase was over $500 USD and with a credit card, like most retailers will do. So I call their phone number they gave me in the email and my order number and what do they do ...

THEY TRY TO UPSELL MY ORDER!!!

WTF!?! ... I don't want you're harnesses! I have them already! I don't need a new bracket for mounting I found it cheaper elsewhere! ... seriously, this is horrible business online. This might fly in a "walk-in" situation, but online? Come on!!

I asked to be compensated for my 24 hour delay, an air freshener would have shut me up! The service rep trying to "overtalk me" (lol ya right) refused profusely. I then asked to speak with the manager on duty, some guy gets on the phone after hearing the entire thing from his co-workers side of the story, and I flat out demand he changes the shipping method from 2 day to 1 day / overnight / whatever to compensate me for their lack of business morals and lack of respect for their customers and the ENTIRE principle of online orders in general.

He refuses ... I ask him to ship my order immediately, he agrees, I hang up.

I will NEVER recommend this crap company known as Sonic Elextronix to ANYONE I know. I hope that anyone looking to purchase from this company in the near future think about what they are getting theirselves into. When you run a business and are on a time restraint, speed of service matters. Know what you want, and go get it. Sonic Eletronics is just the type of place you might find yourself ordering from if there's no alternative anywhere else.

this is why i buy local........even if it does cost me 10% to 15% more....i rather buy local than to deal with this kind of hassle.....
these are rare cases..but when it happens..it frustrating.......

You got what you paid for. The lowest price and the shittest service. They could care less how mad you were. That's their game. Usually they don't even ship your item. They call you back or email you to call to upsell you an item they can make some money on. Support your local specialist!
