SIGH... avic f90

1) sometimes when i use the round knob the change songs it takes me back to map.
2) VERRY laggy at times.
3) Now the power shuts off and wont come on and i gotta wait 10 days for it to be fixed...

could be a bad ground. sometimes when i used the knob on my old pioneer, it would restart, and sometimes it wouldnt come back on unless i turned the car of and started it up again. if its a new hu, theres a really good chance theres a lose wire somewhere, likely ground or power.

I second MetalHead's suggestion, it DOES sound like a bad grounding screw, conntection, etc something loosened up. Either that or you got one of the fated "problem units" some people complain about. I have a f90bt and love it, its laggy at times but with the hardware physical hack, I can use my GPS on the go which to me is invaluable.

Yeah my old Alpine would do that if the detachable face was not seated properly.
