Has anyone had this problem with their stock radio

okay I got the serial number and its 24100721.
I called two different dealers and gave them serial number to my stock stereo and they gave me the code 33424. when i punch it in it says code error 1, error 2, error 3 and so on.

I tried disconnecting the battery all nite, tried touching both positive and negative cables to reset... which it does reset the radio because it goes back to code error 1 when i punch the code again after touching them...

I never had this problem before on any of my fits and im not sure if anyone else on here has beeen through this...

this is so weried its like the stock stereo itself is not reading its code...or maybe the code the dealer has on file for this serial number is not right?? lol god knows....

Glancing at your post history it looks like you deal with a lot of used Fit parts. Is this the same stereo that came with the car?
