Basslink power problem Install Help

I'm installing a basslink that was previously installed in an Integra I owned. Had no issues during this install. The Integra died now after storing the Bass Link and an old Kenwood (same HU) I am having problems reinstalling them. Kewood HU works well.
Installed all wires Battery, remote, grnd, and RCA from HU on the BL (no speaker outs). Turned on HU no bass no power on BL.
Checked voltage had 11.6v from BL battery connection terminal.
Had 10.2 from remote wire.
Turned off the HU checked fuses the BL fuse was blown. Tried to install a new fuse and got a spark. Fuse was still good. I disconnected the grnd and installed the replacement fuse, connected the grnd, but still do not get power on the BL. Fuse is still good. All power is there.
Do you think the BassLink is fried? It did mke a sound when i got the spark.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Well, you were getting power when it sparked. So you checked the fuse on the Basslink itself, and it is good, right? Do you also have an in-line fuse on the power wire to your battery? If so, is it good? If those are both good, make sure you are getting power from your headunit to switch on the Basslink. I can't remember the color of wire. I have had two of those basslinks and out of those two, one quit working for no reason at all. It was within a year of purchase, so I was able to return it, lol. Hope the same didn't happen with yours.
