Center console question for those with 5sp

JDM Center console question for those with 5sp MT

does the jdm center console get in the way of shifting?

Does what get in the way of shifting? The center console? Smoking out and posting is never a good idea my friend....

well the title says the center console for those with 5sp then it says does it get in the way of shifting. well i guess i forgot the put the JDM center console. no need to insult me man.

does the jdm center console get in the way of shifting for those with a 5 speed manual transmission?

Not trying to insult you bro, my bad. And I don't have a JDM so i can't answer your question. I DO have the Zeta non-folding and it does not get in the way, it is smaller than the JDM BTW

JDM console can be annoying when shifting if you have a shorter lever like the Mugen. If you keep the sliding armrest slid forward it can be even more of a bother, plus that piece gets in the way of operating the handbrake lever.

All that having been said, I've gotten used to it to the point where I don't even think about the console being in my way anymore.

Its not in the way for me. You could always buy the extender for the shifter.

Yes and no, I like it cause of the storage space.

I love the console! The armrest makes my long commute much, much more comfortable. Worth the money? That's a personal call.

Yeah its hard to say. I was able to get mine for a steal. So it was really worth it.

it seems like it is annoying? in a way to shift with the center console in the way. is this true? i tested out my friends console but he has an AT. if i moved the armrest all the way out would it be easier to shift?

I have the Mugen SS and i HAD the JDM center console. It was getting in my elbow room way of shifting so i sold it lol Theres no way im selling my Mugen SS. I know what your talking about.
