oh man let me know if you let go of your IDs! i hear they're great SQ subs? my JL W3 sounds smooth but it doesnt hit hard. Reason being? i bought it used and found out im running a single 6ohm

No problem there, just wire it so the DVC setup is at 3 0hm.
