Head Unit install = FUBAR'd AC control?

I'm a bit frustrated right now... Just finished installing my head unit.

Unfortunately, during the install, I pulled too hard in the beginning and forgot to unplug the AC control harness, which resulted in breaking the plastic clip holder on the white piece that has all the fan controls.

I tried supergluing it back together, and mechanically everything feels fine. However, I cannot turn the fans on anymore. Needless to say, I am super-pissed. Should I just take it to a dealer?

I would try to find the parts in a junk yard first, then go to the dealership. They will just recommend to replace the piece you broke, at their labor rate. If you replaced the radio you know how it's supposed to come apart so I would just replace it.

Any luck on fixing this or finding a part number? I think I just did the same thing. It doesn't look like anything broke, but it's not staying together properly.

EDIT: Can anyone confirm this part number?: 79570-SAA-003

I take that back, I got mine working again. A small properly place ziptie held it together better than originally. In reference to the OP's not working after you got it together, did you make sure you have the little copper plate in between the white plastic and the brown connector? I know my plate fell to the ground when I pulled the radio out. I set it aside thinking it was a bracket. But when I looked at it, I realized it fit perfectly on the white plastic piece.

I ended up supergluing it back together, but I think I messed up the connection to ground when I did so, causing it to fail completely. And yes, that little copper bit popped out of mine as well, and I did put it back in place since I saw it was an electrical part.

Thankfully, the new part arrived today and I was able to get everything working again, so I am very happy! Can't wait to have AC again
