I have a Works Bell boss #224, it was brought out for the GE8 and other later model Hondas. I also have a #223 from my old Snisen that would have worked, same spline count, but spoke with Works Bell and the horn coupler is slightly different. The GD Works Bell lists the part numbers as #221 and #223. #221 for MY Jun 2001~May 2004 and #223 for MY Jun 2004~Sep 2007. I would assume since the GD came out in the US so late that #223 would be the part you would want.

Normally with quick releases a short hub is used as the quick release mechanism extends the steering wheel out already. I'm sure you could use a regular size boss, though it would a bit too close, unless you want a NASCAResque driving experience.

You might look into Mugen's boss they released for the 5R Integra and used on a couple other models, it is a nice piece and I used it on my 5R. Just not sure how a qr mechanism would fare attached to it.

I don't have a quick-release - just your standard Momo steering wheel adapter.

I'm told the one for the GD also fits EK Civics...correct me if I'm wrong. Was never really able to verify for myself.

Felix,

I personally use a bell works boss hub made for the gd3 with an NRG gen 2.0 quick release and a nardi deep corn wheel. This all works PERFECT. its closer than stock which is great as I run race seats. I got the hub and QR from evasive and the wheel from weaksos

i was originally going to extend the cruise control wiring to the left side of the wheel. you know where the jdm coin holder is supposed to go. but the bigger square. use a dremmel on that square to cut custom holes for the buttons. would have been clean. i got lazy. race fits don't have cruise control. lol

also, the boss hub comes with the jumper to disable the airbag light. i disabled mine. but now i have absolutely no air bags in my car. fully gutted. so the light is back on. of course. lol

but disabling the light was super easy and so was my plan to keep cruise.

JCrimson, just get more jumpers for the other sensor modules. Works Bell includes 2, one for driver and one for passenger. I just used my second one on the passenger side airbag as I deleted it over the weekend and no little airbag and face on my dash showing up.

How tall is the works bell hub?

My biggest problem is that the stock steering wheel is to far from me with my seating position. I guess I have long legs.
