what do you have to do to keep your horn, and for people that have actually done this, how did you do it?

I have not done the swap yet but I picked up a wheel (duh), hub and quick release. I think most aftermarket wheels have a horn button. Yes you keep your wheel tilt, your not changing anything on column. As for what you need to do IDK, I have not done the swap yet, I might just take my car to a shop and have them do the install for me.

Here is the site I ordered my stuff from, they have combo deals so you can save a few $100.

Yeah, you'll just need a hub for the GD, a compatible steering wheel, and I highly recommend a quick release (NRG makes solid units. I've tried JDM and ebay as well but NRG makes a very good QR product).

Anyone out there have an answer to this? How hard is it to go to an aftermarket wheel and keep cruise control, and this would throw an airbag light, correct?

The SRS light can be bypassed by using a resistor or if you want a clean job, just use a Works Bell hub which has the resistor built into the hub to prevent the SRS light to come on.

What about cruise control? Would I have to make a custom module and rig it to the hub assembly or relocate the buttons to the dash?

Unfortunately, no, you can't keep the cc unless you relocate it somewhere else.

Don't quote me on this, but I'm sure somebody makes an adapter for the paddleshifters.

Before and after Pics are a must. Pleaseeee

My hats off to ya, I just couldnt live without the cruise button. I would also think their must be a way to keep it. When sitting in the drivers seat. Over where the Mirror adjustment is, Their looks like there's an empty spot, just above the storage pocket.

Some of the things the Freaks do to their cars is quite well thought out. There so much DIY here. So keep searching

And if ever someone decides to do a quick release set-up on their car please post a pic on the quick release thread.
