Steering wheel

HI i'm thinking of getting a new steering wheel. Something like a Nardi or Personal Steering wheel.

I have seen a Personal 330mm Neo Grinta steering wheel that i like.

Can someone tell me what i would need to bolt this up to my UK Spec 05 Honda Jazz Sport GD1.

I already have the 2.2ohm fuse to stop the air bag srs light coming on.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Val

Excellent idea! I recommend you remove additional safety equipment while you're at it. That always makes your car more cool.

Rude? Yeah ... Apologies. True? Yes.

The LONG hub kit for a civic (there are 2 long and short but the short one puts the wheel too close to the turn signal stalk and your hands will be constantly hitting them).

The kit should have everything you need to convert and can be used with the stock horn connections. Don't forget to install the two "roll pins" on the back of the new hub to cancel your turn signals if they aren't already put in place.

I have now bought a Personal Neo Grinta 350mm Steering wheel which comes with a horn button.
What hub/boss i would need brand wise to fit? Also which civic? Any civic?

Would a Momo or NRG hub PCD bolt onto the personal steering wheel?

Don't know 100% sure but usually they are almost universal they build them to certain specs and all will fit. Any kit marked Civic as long is it's the long one.

I wouldn't in my own person opinion remove a steering wheel with airbags in it. Its there for a reason. Yeah it would look cool to have aftermarket steering wheels but I wouldn't sacrifies my safety for looks. Anyway that's my 2 cents on this matter. I would on the other hand have my stock steering wheel wrapped in alcantara leather.

Apparently you have never had one go off on your face. IF you constantly wear your seat belt they don't help all that much more.
