How to charge up a capacitor before using!! in power curciut

After the wiring for the cap is installed but before you use it to aid the amp with power, remove the fuse and install the 1K resistor in it's place and have you meter hooked up as up above. After 12v is read remove 1K res. and place the fuse back in the holder. Now it's ready for use.
