My advice would be to start from scratch. Reset the ipod and make sure that all the TTS files on the iPod are deleted. You also have to delete the TTS files from your iTunes. What generation iPod are you using?

Does the iPod play normally when not connected to the car? When it is connected to MusicLink, it only plays a few seconds then skips to the next song or what?

I would backup the music you have on the iPod, then erase the iPod or software update it (go to Apple's website and look for "iPod Updater") and reload your music onto it. It sounds like more of a problem with the iPod itself. The only thing the Honda software does is load speech files onto the iPod. Try it out.
