3 - 10's in a Fit?
I've got 3 Phoenix Gold 10" subs and an 800W PG amp that goes with it from my Frontier I traded in several years ago. Would like to transfer ALL of the equipment to my new Fit.
Would like to see if anyone has installed 3 10's in their Fit. I've seen a few with 2 12's, but not 3 10's.
Plan would be to do a wraparound behind the seats with 1 10" on the left, middle and right and the Amp below the center 10" sub. Of course with the audio installs, I'd run 1/0 power & ground for future use and use 1/0 for the Big 3 upgrade.

Haven't checked the amp/subs yet but if the amp has enough juice to effeciently run the subs cleanly... I say go with sealed enclosures. Love the tightness and musicality of 10s in sealed boxes (yeah, I'm an SQ nut) plus you'll have nice little footprint sized enclosures leaving you some nice cargo space.

I had them in my King Cab Frontier, and they would get loud if I pushed them. But I like the sound of good bass that blends in with the overall music rather than just trying to be as loud as I can. Which is part of the reason I went with 3 10's vs. 2 12's, or a single 15.
Since the Frontier cab had less volume, I'm thinking this application will do well with a sealed enclosure, and placing them apart would leave a nice center area for cargo. I'll have to look into securing the box in the back there, see if I can somehow bolt it to the floor or an existing bolt.
If I remember correctly the amp was a class D 800W RMS, and the subs were rated at 250W RMS each while needing 0.9 cu. f.t. of internal box space. I made the box out of 3/4" MDF and filled it with polyfil from wally world.
Several months before trading in the Frontier, I bought a 4-channel A/B amp, can't remember the RMS rating, to power replacement component speakers. They never made it into the truck, so I'd be installing all this as well in the Fit.

Just open the hatch and put on a continuous bass song and INSTANT BOOST!
