I just bought a 2009 Fit Sport (which i LOVE) tried to use the Ipod USB thing, and plugged in my Ipod shuffle to listen to an audio book and music i have on there and all i get is "unsupported" on the radio screen. I do NOT have the navigation just the regular stereo system, can someone please tell me how to fix this? =) tried to do a search on here, but couldn't find anything and i'm new here =)

We have a 2011 and get "7 of 48 supported". Did you get yours to work?

 

I wonder if you tried syncing the ipod again on your computer and then plug into the Fit. Are you using the usb interface in the glove compartment or the aux connection on the radio unit?

 

Got mine to work. Reset the IPod according to directions on line and now it worksl

 

Hi--what are the "reset the iPod according to directions online"? I don't want to lose anything on my iPod!

I started getting this message two weeks ago when I tried connecting the iPod AFTER starting the car. (The iPod is always off when I connect it.) I then went back to connecting the iPod first then starting the car, turning on the player and all was well, until this morning when I got the UNSUPPORTED message again. Any help appreciated!
