Can someone get me some measurements?

Hello.

Would it be possible for someone to measure some spots in the interior of the car? I've marked the locations in the image below.

Also unmarked what is the height from the cargo floor to the ceiling?

Got some measurements...
approximately 65" from front seats to tailgate (front seat all the way forward.) approx 57" with front seats as shown in picture.
31" is max opening for tailgate.
39" is cargo floor to ceiling give or take 1/2" on all measurements. hope this helps....

Thanks so much!

I wanted to check to see if I could put my mountain bike in the back standing upright instead of in tall mode, and I can! I'm definitely getting a Fit

EDIT: Just for fun nobody would happen to know the max payload capacity of the car would they? I can't find the number online anywhere.

Your welcome

I think you will be safe to stuff it full of whatever you are carrying. The user manual however says to not tow anything with the car. I am sure this is to prevent premature transmission wear and tear. Take care...

To answer your load limit question...

From the manual:
Load Limits
The maximum load for your vehicle
is 850 lbs (385 kg) for U.S. models
and 395 kg for Canadian models.
This figure includes the total weight
of all occupants, cargo, and
accessories.

That makes me giggle inside. The max load capacity of the Element with passengers is 675lbs and it makes a lot of owners upset, whats the point of a huge vehicle like the Element when you can't put anything in it. Also if you think 4x175lb people = 700lbs = overload.

Thanks for posting!

I just took these pics of my bike in the "Cargo Hold". LOL
My bike is a 25" frame and I had to lower the seat post and remove the
front wheel.
I covered it with a shipping mat as it sticks up over my armrest a bit, still
not in the way of my elbow, but a little blocking of a right rear eye check.
Just 4 bungee cords holding it on the bars and it did not move more than 2-3".

Here is the view from the front seat.

Does it not fit in tall mode?
Considering you've already removed the front wheel, I would have assumed it would fit in tall mode easily.

I love the way some people make stupid comments when they haven't actually tried it out themselves. Don't assume!
If you have done it yourself, take a picture and post it here.

And it is not easy to get the tall frame into the car.

My bike from the rear wheel to the tip of the bars measures 64" The distance between the rear doors closed is around 51" and then there is the
grease on the chain and sprockets mucking up the upholsterey trying to get the bike in.

Thank you for the info!

Could someone please make another measurement and let us know the total length from the tailgate to the dashboard?

And from the tailgate to the windshield?

Would much appreciate!
