dang that chip looks really legit. i think i'm gonna buy a few, maybe they add up exponentially if i stack 'em up? also, i'm looking at the image and wondering is that chip 2-dimensional? or is there a 3rd dimension to it too?

I did search. I searched "cyclone engineering" "cyclone chip", etc. And nothing. So I decided to post this. And I have no regrets. It has been truly fulfilling.

Just take a match and burn your money you were going to spend on that $9 dollar chip. You will probably get more for your money...lol

Hey,

I added a Mugen sticker to my car and my dyno went up 12whp. I'm thinking about adding some more stickers when I came across this thread. Now, I'll have to get 12 of these babies.

It's not actually a chip... it's [most likely, I've seen these before] a "module": a resistor that goes in place of your IAT sensor to fool the engine into thinking it doesn't need as much fuel. This causes the engine to run lean in closed loop conditions and use less fuel and possibly make slightly more power (very slightly... AFR doesn't affect power THAT much).

At least everyone realised it's bad... wish I could say the same for a lot of Civic owners.
