thinking of tinting my ge8
any suggestions towards the %
im thinking something like this.. the rear window somewhat light so i can see when backing up at night, the small ones after a little darker and the next maybe the same as the little or lighter, and the front even lighter cause its illegal in where i am for the driver's/ passenger side tinted.
main reason for tinting is because its summer time, and i want a avic head unit and i dont want it to get jacked..

it'll look tacky if you use different tints on the car. Go for a nice 15%. It's dark at night but you could still see out of the car.

You can do a graduated tint, it does NOT look tacky, it is the standard nowdays. If you go too dark in the back it looks weird but if you do 25-15 or something like that it will be fine. Look for the tint thread on this forum if you want to see examples.

Also, you need to determine what your state's regulations on tint are. The tint shops will know how dark you can legally go, 15% may be too dark and you don't want to start getting ticketed or having guns drawn on you if you get a traffic stop.

How would getting a light tint on front keep you from getting jacked? Light tint looks pretty much stock - I have 30% all around and it's borderline stock/tint looking. Haven't had a single problem from cops in Socal, home of nazi car hating cops.

Thanks! Yup, pictures were taken by Automall.

My wheels are 17x7 +40 offset, but I put 5mm spacers on the rears.

Just washed the car, then used Klasse Gray & some quick detailer with carnauba wax in it on top. Car looked alot wetter/deeper than these pictures show, but yea. BBP <3
