Right on. Love TL's. Congrats on the new Fit too.

I know what you mean by the purple to blue color change. I have a 99 amythyst (purple) civic right now and i have had many ppl say the same thing. I find the color on my civic is very close to BBP.

Thanks man. Ever since I first saw the Fit on GT4 I could not get over it. And then when they started shipping them state side I could not believe it. The car I tuned and raced so many times on GT4 was going to be sold here. So one of my friends ends up buying one of the first ones that came to the Houston area and he had to rub it in my face. I really wanted to keep driving paid off cars but I could not find the 90' Civic Wagon that I wanted in good enough shape so I gave in and bought my first brand new car EVER! I've had it since last Saturday and have tried to keep myself from dogging the ever living crap out of it. I'm at 340 miles as of right now. So I'm trying to be as calm as possible when I drive it but it's hard to do when I start to get a few ants in my pants!

I just posted a couple of pics in the forum on another thread: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...tml#post196055

I'm getting tinted on Tuesday, so I'll take some proper snaps later.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

I admit, it's only about 2-3mm in size, but it's my first rock chip.

I'm not sure what to do, it's like the clear coat just got smushed up. Will have to look in the sun tomorrow and see how far down it goes.

Anyone with a BBP actually seen touch up paint / pens yet???

agony

I feel your pain. I picked up my first chip on the hood. Bernardi and collegehills have the Blackberry Pearl touch up pens. I'm sorry about the chip but if you drive it this will happen. The BBP paint is very sweet and I totally understand your sorrow and protectiveness. Chips happen!

Newbie here. Been lurking for 10 days and I want to thank all of you for the assist/aid/humor you've provided which has resulted in our taking delivery tomorrow on a BBP Sport MT.

Think we got semi-lucky on this and hope it augers well for our time in the saddle with it. FWIW: Got the BPP MT in 36 hours! Price (inc tx) = $16,364 all up including a clear bra and applique on rear bumper, and fees. The "marketing markup" between Salt Lake and Denver runs about $800-$1,700 above sticker, so not too bad for us, especially since the high price spreads are hundreds of miles away and we got it within 45 miles.

Wanted the VSC/TC, but would've had to wait for ??long and,WTH, we've been driving without that for decades. But here in the depths of the Rockies it can be helpful.

Black Drag wheels are going on with snow tires next week. This'll be my wife's ride so I won't kit it out much...yet. But someday?!?

Thanks for all of your help. I'm sure I'll have a million Qs so it's nice to find such a knowledgeable bunch who help a lot in keeping their best Fit forward.

Thanks guys. I didn't really want to go bronze because it's becoming trendy but I don't think there is another color I would have gone with.

well i do most of my shopping on Houston-Imports.com

I try to buy everything I can used or at a fat discount. I got my wife shopping on the "clearance rack" when she shops for clothes.

I've been having internal conflicts over wheels due to the color of the BBP, but I have to admit, those Bronze heliums look really good. I was thinking, either bronze, gold or white would look good on the BBP, maybe even anthracite, but it's so hard to decide without actually seeing the color combos together.

That said, thanks for sharing your pics. It helps greatly. I was saving up to go the DC-6 route (in bronze) and may still do that after seeing your pics Mojo. I may also color match the wheels instead... Hmmm...

BTW, what did you do about the TPMS?

I consider myself an old school import guy. My first car was a 240sx. I got that thing ten years ago and had white enkei's on it. I wanted to go white with BBP but it's so hard to keep the car clean, adding white wheels would just be an extra pain in my @$$.

I'm just gonna ignore the TPMS for now. One guy on here said that if you have the stock rims on the car and the light is off that once you turn off your car, change out the rims and take the stock wheels about 70 feet away that the light won't come back on. But I don't have a place to keep them other than storage on my patio.

Yeah, I don't have any storage that is that far away from my car either.. At least not yet. Next Spring, I want to build a building in the back of the house to store our motorcycles and vespas. I'm sure I can keep those wheels in there... hmmm.

Oh and +1 on trying to keep the car clean.. BBP seems to be the worst color, next to black ...
