A dealer told me they were expecting one end of Sept , beginning Oct and he would call me when it came in. I haven't heard from him. This particular dealer doesn't pre-order. So you can't make down payments to hold a car.
This particular dealer is about 50 miles away, so I don't even think I would go to take a look if it does come in.

 

That's my second choice, but my local dealer hasn't gotten any of those either! Only blue, white, and red. None of which I really want.

But if it's purple, I want purple... sooo badly! Cuz in purple, I'm stunning! +1,000,000 points to the person who gets the reference, lol.

Is it just me, or does this button from the Honda site make it look more purple? Optimistic, I know.

 

Searching on cars.com, I found two BBP's at Piazza Honda of Pottstown, PA. Unfortunately, the dealer's web site is a canned piece of flash-driven crap that only shows file photos of representative cars, and there's no mention of specific units. A local DFW dealer said they had one coming in next week, so I'll try to get up there to take a photo if at all possible - I need to see this color in the sun before ordering. It's down to BBP or Orange Blast...

Fitless

 

I seem to be seeing a lot of purple vehicles on the road! No fits of course. I wish the BBP in the 2008 fit brochure and the BBP on honda's website matched. It would be more reassuring. fitless's links got my hopes up but there were just stock photos. Nice try though. My BBPs been on order for almost a month and I'm starting to FREAK!

 

I'd really appreciate even just a visual report of if it's purple or not... the last of my cheques have cleared and I'm in a position to buy, and want purple!

ITS NAVY BLUISH. SAW IT AT HAYWARD HONDA AND SAN LEANDRO HONDA IN THE BAY AREA. ITS OK...ID BUY IT I GUESS.

 

Since the BBPs seem to be showing up it would be nice if someone would take a picture. I'm not real happy about "navy blue" but that was the way it looked on Honda's website.

 

Blech. Okay, thanks for the report. I'm disappointed, but probably would have gotten annoyed eventually with having a darker coloured car.
