i like the clean look too, but i wouldn't mind me a 20% all around.

here in nc the limit is 35, and it applies to the rear too, it can't be darker unless its an SUV. (yes i know, that rule=stupid.)

but we are allowed a 2 or 3 percent error. So i could do something weird like 32.5%.

I think I will go 35 or 30% in the front and 25% for the back.

I really would like to run 5% all the way around on my car, but the pigs in NH seem to give people alot of shat. So i think i am going to go with 20% in the rear windows and 35% up front.

How long do you guys think i would be able to go with 5% all around without getting caught? Tint law here is 35% all around.

I know a few guys who run 5% all around. Cops here dont really care, and i personally am running 20% all around. Havent got sited yet. I think if you ran the setup you're thinking of it shouldnt be that bad.

since the limit here is 70%, i think u wouldnt get caught unless u did something else, i.e. stop sign, speeding, etc. in those cases they will prolly add on the fix-it on top. I rarely ever heard of people just getting pulled over for tint/any fix-its'.

SF is different for the rest of California????

Cali law is as dark as you want on all windows except the front doors and windshield. The very back window can be completely black even painted black if you want.

The front doors and windshield are zero tint. They only allow for the use of the very light UV tint (greenish) that most cars have.

As for the cops... they bust people every day in the bay for having tint of the front windows. In fact bay caps are worse than Sacramento area cops.

you can blame the huge space on my crazy steep driveway (PITA) .. the parking brake (e brake whatever floats your boat) was on and the way the car rolled back on it - it made it go up
