First of all, I would like to say, In no way are these vids apart of an illegality event.

I have read the Forum rules.

This was done on a 2 lane closed street on the side of a main street. Thanks to a buddy of ours which owns that property for allowing us to do this.

The camera man was in my car (sickfit).
Towelie also had a buddy in his car to even out the weight.

Our mods our similar. I have full Exhaust with no CAI. And Towelie has CAI, Exhaust with no headers. Pretty much even.

On our first run from a 40 you'll see that during our 2nd gear pull we were pretty even at the beginning and then he starts to pull away. In 3rd gear I start gaining and pass and in 4th he starts pulling away on me, then I tried to shift to 5 and totally missed the gear and he pulled away taking the first run.



On our second run from a 20 i was in first gear and i believe he was in the same gear. Same result of the first run except during our loooonnnnggg 4th gear Towelie was getting close to redline and shifts into 5th and since I was still in 4th at about 5800 RPM I still had room b4 redline and pulled away from him.



It was a great time and we both had a blast out there, of course trying to be as safe as possible.

 

LOl I said, "OH GREAT" in the first vid when Towelie and I were lining up cuz I saw thru the side view mirror we had another buddy of ours getting close to our a$$.

it would be nice to know what a fit with an intake gets, a fit with an axle back gets, a fit with both, a fit with both and a b pipe, fit with all 3 and headers, a fit with all 4 and a downpipe, a fit with all 5 and t1r pulleys, a fit with all 6 and weight reduction...


....GET MY DRIFT(and yes a RWD conversion drifting fit would be cool to see too)?!

Get some friends together and drive to the track. That's what me and some friends did (back when I had a Neon). Got together early in the morning and we drove the 1.5 hour drive to Wisconsin for the race day on the 1/4 mile.

 

Good vid's. I used to go to that "private street" in my specV when I lived in Jupiter and had friends down there. I miss living 5 minutes from Moroso. I used to bolt my slicks on at home and drive to the track.

 

lol i know right. Thats what i say. BTW, to clarify, my cousin loves the car, he didnt post it up there to get ranked on. He posted it there cuz he likes adding vids to his collection. Its those other people that were ranking on it. Thats incase ppl were thinking that my cousin posted it because he wanted the vid to get ranked on.
