You did a JDM conversion? Very nice, I like that design and especially the intercooler. Looks ace. The turbo is also a great mod. How did it affect your gas millage? Overall a great car, keep up the good work.

Kelso,
you just keep impressing me more and more every day with this build! Keep it up man! Just stay "keep it simple stupid" way!

People watch and learn! Sinking ton of money does not mean outrageous flared out body parts and useless expensive bling-bling crap!

I can only think of one thing I would do differently - no front plate! Man these front plates are just not meant to be put on some car designs! They just ruin the look and that is why I drive without mine and deal with "fix-a-tickets"! Italians know what they are doing! Their front plates are tiny and made out of rubber, so you can attach them anywhere up front even on horizontal surfaces. No surprises from a birthplace of exotic sport cars!

And that height discussion, don't worry. First time somebody tries to follow you on the twisties will get their answer! I was given the same comments about my CRX 15 years ago and ate everything they stated on Mulholland trying to keep up! ROFL!
They also laughed at white OZ Evolutions and red painted calipers. Two years after that everybody was painting even drum brakes and white wheels are finally catching on!
WRC and WTCC people, not NASCAR! You are following the wrong motorsport!

Can't wait to see your car in person!

Ivan

Darn, I hate this spread the rep crap! I can't rep you again Kelso!
Is it my f...ing fault that same people keep doing things that deserve credit! I hate throwing rep around to "less deserving" just to be able to give it again to people that keep coming with pure gold for the community.

Ivan
thanks alot for the kind words ivan. it means alot to me

with the jdm bumper, i kinda have to run the front plate. there is an ugly gap in the bumper where the plate goes and factory holes for them. i made that bracket for my front plate to make it look a little better AND for function. the holes in the top and the way my plate is angled actually directs air to my intercooler rather than having the plate block it. also, i am not carb legal so i dont want to give the cops an excuse to pull me over and bust me for the aftermarket parts i have on my car. gotta make lemons into lemonade
