FitR at Willow Springs video

check out the video of Skunk2 FitR at Willow Springs Raceway (Fastest Track in the West)!

The Skunk2 FitR uses Skunk2 Pro-C coilovers, Kraftwerks Supercharger Kit, and 60mm Skunk2 Megapower exhaust.

This little car was holding its own against some really exotic company and was actually running faster than a BMW M5...that video will be out shortly.

Holy crap is that impressive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!

While you are here, I have been wondering......
i see on this blue car ya got rear disc conversion
but on a previous car you had the Insight Aluminum rear drums,
How much lighter are those than the steel fit drums?
Mind you I have searched all over for this info and cant find it.

You guys have always been faster in the corners, but with the Kraftwerks SC it's a whole new world

Fit-R

when we built the car for the show, none of the parts for the engine came in on time, so they were not included in the build. (the car was a preproduction vehicle and we basically had to design everything from scratch)...the stock motor made 225+ with the turbo set-up, but that kind of power eventually claimed the motor after 2 track days (we figure that safe power for a stock fit motor should not exceed 200 whp)

we ended building the engine with rods and pistons and replacing the turbo system that we had in the car (Street Tuner Challenge configuration) and put on a KW SC kit. The Kraftwerks Supercharger kit was super responsive and made the car easy to drive.

we are going to put up another video of the Skunk2 Fit-R running down a (last generation) BMW M5.

regarding the rear brakes, we modified 92 Civic rear brakes to fit the car. We were going to introduce that rear disc conversion kit, but it was pricier than most Fit owners seemed willing to spend on rear brakes
