Are they going to fit in the motor?

lol i hope so.....

no, the base of the rod stem where it meets the big end is almost the same as stock. i brought the motor and stuff to the machine shop today and everyone there was like in awe of the cross beam rod construction. should be all machined by end of next week. hopefully it will be running by next weekend.

what we worked out is boring the cylinders, decking the head and the block, pin fit the pistons to the rods, file fit the rings, fit the rods to the crank, balance crank, rods, pistons, then balance full rotating assembly, and finally gasket match the intake and exhaust manifold.

didn't have to stroke the block/shave some off the lower cylinder walls for the rods to fit?
me likes...even if it is for an l15, still love the work that's going into it.

well right off the bat its only gona make about 240 250 the the wheels, the fun starts after i get a new fuel system. 300+ fooo shooo

lol not alot, thats my next big concern. i dont think the trans will hold 300 but we'll find out on the dyno in a few months, but for now it will be ok

glad u asked that question mr DEW. just a few miles from me i happen to have a shop that builds all the racing axles for all the big import racers here in town, called gator axles. they build the axles that go on the 9 second civics and evos around here
