5 Day Detail, some pics
5 Day Detail, some pics
I spent the last week working on my SSM....looks pretty good now. I had major swirls from not knowing any better. I washed on Friday, meguiars gold wash, microfiber towels, used Optimum Power Clean and P21S for wheels and wheel wells, dried.
Used PC with LC orange pad and Menzerna SIP, and then again with LC white pad and Final Polish II. did rinse and alcohol wipedown.
saturday i was still finishing the polishing and used some Menzerna on the headlamps and Tail lights. on Sunday i did the first 3 coats of Zaino 2 pro with the fast cure kit, let it cure, then Monday did another 3 coats. I have Zaino gloss enhancer but forgot to use it. The Zaino was also put on the wheels and on the inside of the door frames and rockers and the frame of the doors. Under the Hood and the engine bay i used Rejex.
Finally Tuesday I applied Dodo Juice Supernatural, used my fingertips for that, not my whole hands, i was afraid of damaging the finish; I also treated all the glass with Aquapel...that stuff didn't look like it did anything when i wiped it off...cant wait till it rains, but not really i have getting the fit dirty.
I took just a few pics, i really should have taken more...sorry, but i did take some today of it all done.
I now have to the wife's Mazda 5, you can see it in the background of one of the pics...i'll probably take more pics with it, its a year older than the Fit.
here are the pics:

Very nice. Your using all the right products. Aquapel is amazing by the way. So is supernatural. Oh and rejex too, rejex works great on wheels and calipers. Looks great.
If you want to take this a bit further you should pick up some halogen lights. Check out some of the details in my sig and youll see the lights im talking about. Its really hard to see swirls without sunlight or halogen lighting. That way you can check out your progress and really bring out all the imperfections.
