Was there ever any video that showed this crime happening? It seems that all convenience stores have surveillance cameras these days.

 

I do not think the vandals wanted to make profit from the guy's Fit. The rims are an easy steal, but it is obvious they just wanted to beat the crap out of his car. If they wanted to make money, they wouldn't have smashed every single panel and window of his car. Not barking at you, but just letting you know.
