My Fit is Gone :

Not in the way i'd have hoped. Ended up getting a flat tire at a friends convenient store, which isnt located in a good area. Well not having a spare on me ( let a friend borrow it 2 weeks back) and car being too low to even think about fitting a jack underneath it i was forced to leave it over night. We closed the store at about 845-9ish.

Well i get a call in the morning saying my car has been effed up and the police are there waiting for me to go and fill-out the police report. By the time i got there the cops had all the paper work ready to go. All i had to do was confirm the information and see what was missing from the car. A lot of misc. stuff nothing too valuable that i can recall.

One of the officers that patrol the area actually found the car which is why everything was handled so quickly. Well enough with the boring stuff.. here's what i found.

Im pretty sure the car is totaled out. The tow truck broke my front bumper and side skirts as he was lifting it up, so that didnt help much.

From what the cop said this stuff happens all the time around the area the car was located in. Nothing i can really do about it now, just have to wait to hear from the body shop and then the insurance company.

When you live in a state where there isn't much to do, you find shit to do. That sucks man.

****ing hate people like that.
Jealous delinquents.
If they spent half as much time in ****ing up other people's stuff into building a life for themselves - they'd have their own Fit... *sigh*

I'm definitely sorry about your car, however there is some common sense that was lacking on your part. Don't mean to sound like a d*ick in this reply, but when you have a Fit like yours, flat tire, a bad neighborhood, and a convenient store, shouldn't force you to leave it overnight.

My Ej8 was way dumped than your Fit and I manage to jack up the car and get a spare on. Also, I don't know how you can lend someone your spare, but couldn't borrow someone else's spare.

Sorry about your car, it was a good looking Fit.

its ok, i didnt take offense to your post.
friend really needed the spare and since i never really go out of town i usually dont need it. its hard to jack my car up considering i cant even fit the scissor jack underneath it when the tire is aired up. so with it flat. its impossible. as far as borrowing another spare its was already 9pm. everyone i knew with the same lug pattern i wasnt able to get in touch with.

this totally sucks, and i hope you get a new fit out of it - next time just carry a couple of 2x4 in the center of the spair tire and drive up onto them, then put the jack under your car, your excuse is kinda lame, next time think!
