Rust is not a crime:

 

this dubber style crap is what bothers ME the most.

there are a ton of clean vw's out there that DONT do this.

its a handful and nothing more. go to vw vortex....more painted hoods than not.



and the fit will never be a vw, no matter what kind of crazy ass camber you run, if you are rocking euro wheels etc...

and the crazy offset vw community is a small part of a larger community that again, does NOT do this crap.

I really hope this trend doesnt catch on here.
No offense, but Im not a fan either, or maybe i just need some time to get used to it, but its quite a shock the first time you see it.

 

the finishing results wont look like the one on the EM1!!! its going to look a lot better trust me

interesting, nothing that i would ever do on my car. i hate the feeling of raw and rusted metal, it reminds me of chalkboards

i wouldve sanded it like you did and clear it so it looks like brushed metal
