Visors now match headliner

Visors now match headliner

My visors didn't match my headliner, and I've been putting this off for a while, but finally tackled it the other day. I needed to figure out how to wrap the visors since they are one piece. Here's what I ended up doing:

I unscrewed the mirror and cut off the vinyl. Then I cut a channel around the outer edge of the visor (sorry for the Blackberry pics)

Name:  visors1.jpg

Size:  32.5 KB

Then I wrapped one side and used a soft spreader tool to push the fabric into the channel

Did the same thing on the other side, and screwed the mirror back in

There are some small imperfections, and I'll probably re-do them at some point, but I'm happy with them for now.

Looks great! Did you take any pictures of the visor all taken apart? You can order just the mirror part from Honda for like $15 so I have been thinking about trying to buy one and install on the passenger side. Since you already got yours apart, does it look like that would be possible?
