2012 Fit Sport visors are useless. Has anyone been able to replace them or modify them for both front and side protection? I think they are a safety hazard.

 

its very time consuming and irritating work i would better advice you to get rid of it with the help of any good technician...

 

I rented a Ford last month- the driver's side sun visor could be pulled to the right, slid along the rail. Seemed like a pretty good idea, I hope Honda eventually copies it.

That said, I took a piece of carboard (the top of a big box) and cut a notch in it so I can wedge it between the mirror's pole and the roof. If you cut it just right it'll mostly stay there. I played around with how it wedges against the mirror, with more cardboard and lots of tape holding the cardboard notch in place, so it doesn't fall down.
