well after reading all these recent stories of people totaling their fits... guess what.

i was driving home from work trying to get some food, i was going down the main road only 40-45 (the speed limit) and this guy flies out of this neighborhood entrance i didnt see him till it was too late and slammed on the breaks but still hit him, he crossed the T you could say. this is the only accident ive been in so i was shook up a bit. im totally fine, just a little scratch on my left leg. luckily there was a witness cause the guy in the car i hit (40-50 yr old indian) said i was the one that ran the stop sign, i know for damn sure it was his fault. and they charged him with reckless driving

everyone didnt think i was the driver cause i was up and walking around, they were all like, "wait? that little honda kept you alive? ahaha"

well heres all thats left..

wow bud, im glad ur ok, sucks about the fit tho, i hate seeing fits all smashed up and i tighten up just thinking about that happening to mine, i gotta be more careful!

What did insurance say? Is it totalled?

 

100 to one its totalled, straight shot to the front crumple zone, air bags deployed x2= total loss. Glad you are OK, sudden accidents like that can be harder to recover from than one you saw coming, take care...

My appraiser is gonna check it out if its totaled tomorrow and see how much i can get...

but from what they said i probably wouldnt get a new one, i would have to look in used car lots to find the same model with the around the same miles, but im gonna say im 100% sure that there isnt a used 2010 honda fit sport w/ less than 3000 miles on it. so im gonna make that guy pay big for it!

also i picked up my rental today (gonna love insurance!) im currently rockin a Kia Rio, manual windows and locks gotta love it... i went to Qudoba for free burrito day right after i picked up the car and when i walked out after eating a blue ge (just like mine) was parked right next to me i cried alittle on the inside :'(

edit: ohh yea, i had the choice of the the kia or a lime green vw bug

 

So sorry to hear about your accident but glad to knwo that you were able to walk away and with only a small injury. Hope you can get a favorable verdict from the insurance to get you back on the road really soon.
