** 9UP GD3 Heart Transplant (build thread) **
why do i need to rip up the track when i can rip up the dyno ..hahaha
this was never ment to be a track car

any fix you found so far so you don't have to run the fits ecu? this is bothering me haha. I just want to run 1 damn ecu and the IQ3 lol.
was wiring a bitch man? I have a feeling this is going to SUCK. lol My buddy is an electrical specialist at the shop he works at "European Automotive." and has done wire tucks and motor swaps before. I really hope this isnt the 1 task that fumbles him. Im going to have to do an ass ton of research.
worse case scenario, SCREW power steering. lol

I applaud your tireless work in this project. It truly gave me something to look forward to every week, especially at work. Insane amount of skill and vision, congrats and thanks for posting the vid.

I should just disconnect mine as is right now and see if im cool with it. My friends ITR didnt have PS with his K24 and he loved it on the track. Most of the time though, now a days honda race cars go through a lot of trouble to put electronic power steering in their race car, would be ashame to loose it in a car already equipped.
Some update from my 2nd tune..... Was hoping for 1bar with 450whp
But turned out my I-vtech system some where isn't working properly
-if I retard alittle ...it would automatically jump to max
Same goes for advancing.... It would either be at 0 or jump to max
We think we migh need to clean the hydraulic pump.... May be it's clogged with dirt from dirty oil.....
So with out the ability to adjust timing..... I boost 16psi n only make 367whp
Kinda sad especially to fix the problem... I need to take the motor out due to limited space !!!

367whp on a 2.0 @ 1bar is not bad.
Unless you are winding out to ~9-10k rpm it is very unlikely you will hit 450fwhp at only 14.7psi (1.0Bar) on a 2.0l engine, especially on pump gas. Even with a very large compressor. You could try to put a larger turbine side on the same compressor and you would pick up more hp per psi boost. But it is hard to see where you would pull another 90whp out at the same boost level
What rpm did you make peak torque vs. where you made peak whp?

peak power without v-tech in place is 6700rpm.....

dyno graph shows up tp 9000rpm
