All is good with mine Mike. I just washed and gave it a wipe down with Mothers Detailer yesterday. Damn it looks good for 5 + yrs. Just a few minor chips on the front which are barely noticeable. The sides and rear are still clean. Runs like new. There is just nothing out there I would want to trade for.

Smile mzfit after her mzhap

Hey Bill,
Here's MzFiT watching me drink a cup of coffee after a good paint detailing. Had a good day with her in my shop and a new 6" electric orbital buffer w/ 3 foam pads. Light compound, polish and waxed.
Picked the buffer and pads up @ Harbor Freight for less than 70.00 what a deal. The foam pads create a super nice finish w/o swirl marks!

1st step

The clear has been flying off all over town on my " Mugin " rear wing. And it was always something that I kept putting off. So today was the 1st step to what I thought was going to be a 3 day project.
Feathered out the clear with 220 wet then 500 and 1200 primed and this afternoon color and clear and as Brother JD would say BAM Done.
MzFiT getting her groove back...

Thumbs up ebay coil packs

4 Denso IK22 plugs 28.24 and 4 new coil pack 45.00. I'll update on the coils I install 4 of the same on a 07 w/ 147k on it and it went from missing and stumbling w/AC on to smooth. This was June and the car it still doing very well w/ the coils.

No no to Denso, NGK all the way
These weren't hot enough and NGK is stock for a reason.

Please get different ignition coils, believe me I got those same exact $45 ignition coils for my car and then ended up going bad after not even 3 months. You never want to go cheap with engine parts for any car.

I was on Ebay and saw the license plate re-locater, and thought shhoot I can make that, so i did. At first it was for EGgy but, no. Then I thought the Si could use a shot of JDM, but naw. So then I went over to MiZfIt and that was a grand slam yes. So ASAP she'll get the front plate moved over towards the P.S. side a bit .
The candy tangerine rims are going back on after spring is here though the summer. She needs to get her groove back.
So some new pix will be replacing some of the ones that have been up for years!

* Hey I just noticed what happened to all the gobblety goop that in the upper RHS and LHS of our page? I like it w/o all that stuff; cleaner appearance, good job who ever did that, thanks.

Exclamation The dreaded wet rear carpet!

Well its been awhile since I've written down anything to do with the Fit. Well a few rain showers ago I found the carpet wet again! Checked the roof seam and it was okay. So I reckon it's the door....

Good news with mzfit she got a set of roofracks (sport craft by Thule) so now I can haul a ladder. And I'm getting older but still a kid at heart..... Looking for a short 5'8" surf board and paint it pearl white and bom! Paint a V stripe in bom and the rest pw. Clear it and put it on the racks.

We are having major rain storms today. I went and sat in mzfit and both doors ( ps) are leaking into the rear PS footwell area. Glad that was identified.
The GDs are the leakingest car I have owned! But She's still a fun car to drive!

Talking Merry Christmas to MzFiT

Polished the headlights & installed 4 cf wheel opening trims & smoked liecence plate covers with red Skunk2 fastners.
Got yellow driving light tint. A new set of eyebrow covers. Painting ebc and the fresh air Rouge built, BOM.
She's at 72k now and I'll be changing the front brakes, rotors/pads and all 4 shocks and front sway bar links.
For a Happy New Year

Nice! I just started posting on this forum again. I remember following your thread several years back when I was more active. Always enjoyed your updates. God bless and I would like to see more angles of that rear wing.

FF has changed up the pic download procedures, but I will do the pix for you.
