It's too conservative when compared to most art cars... I wonder how much money House Of Blues was able to auction it off for... You might see it being auctioned off on Barrett Jackson in the future. It will bring a lot of money if a big celebrity was who have owned it.

I'm somewhat a blues musician and historian of blues music, and own a reworked Fender Bassman amp, bullet microphones, a couple of cases Hohner, Lee Oskar, Suzuki harmonicas, countless vinyl, cassette, CD recordings, books, Madison Blues boots, and wayfarer sunglasses.... I saw pictures of the car in 2008 and thought it was pretty cool but a big Cadillac Fleetwood or a Hudson Terraplane would be the choice of ride for a working bluesman.

Oh yeah.. I wish I was in San Antonio to celebrate with my wild and crazy Mexican relatives, or at Parrot Eyes on South Padre with some of the other ones. I'll have to at least make up some of my special Mescal/Puro Cano (Everclear) Margaritas this evening.

The GD3 base models look like that because they don't have the plastic cladding that the sport model has.... In 2006 when they were first coming into the US market there were a lot of people living in rural areas online that actually thought that the base model should have had even more ground clearance and smaller wheels and tires.
