My 08 GD (Noobie Inside)

**June 19, 2017 - Fit has officially been sold due to financial priorities. It has been a great time learning from fellow Fit Freaks and sharing some info that I know as well. Who knows maybe I would want to get myself back into a GD or GE somewhere in the future. But for now jmsplitfyre is signing out. Peace out, Freaks!**

Greetings Fit Freaks!

I just bought this 08 NHBP Fit LX more than a month ago and I must admit that the GD is still starting to grow on me. I bought some parts already, most of them cosmetic but I am going to gather performance parts over the winter.

Thanks guys!

I plan to keep the engine bay as clean as possible, but with winter coming up I guess I'll jusr detail it again next spring.

As for the short shifter, it's a big difference from stock.
It's really a must for me 'coz my past cars had short shifters.
Very cheap upgrade but it's really worth it. Just a heads up, you need patience to take out the white seat that holds the shifter. Patience or another set of hands, and it will all be easy.

Look what the UPS guy bought today courtesy of E=Mc2:

I'm not going to install it this year since winter is already approaching and I don't want my foggies to get hammered by rocks and ice.
Any suggestions if I should get it tinted yellow or just buy yellow bulbs?

Thanks! It's my first set of wheels for this car, I might have a change of heart and get something else in the future.

You can still get it from your local Honda dealer. Just ASK for the oem one because I'm pretty sure they will try to sell you the Perfect Fit brand one.

hey is that a shop where you can go and rent the space to do work? or do you just know someone who owns a shop. I saw on top gear you can rent a space like that by the hour in england or something.

Been a while again since I last updated this thread. Nothing new with the GD, just regular washes, fill-ups, and maintenance. I thought about going halfway with my car payment first then start hoarding parts again for the Fit.

Yes, I will be on hiatus for about a year and a half but I will still keep this thread updated with other stuff about my GD. I.E. Installing other items that I have lying around the house.

But for now some pics:
