84's GD3 | Snail build
Got a pic? I swear I've seen a handful of J's Racing intakes.
RE: J's Racing
From what I've heard, there were only 4 made. Fit4Trav has one. The other three I have no idea. But then again, this is from a thread I read from back in 08.
Since then, there are a few sites that carry it. Perhaps it's not as rare now? Not sure if they fits the USDM model though.

RE: ARC Magic
From my research, Machin Industry, one of the leading distributors of ARC Magic for North America (back in the day), teamed up with ARC and made a prototype for the GD3 here. That didn't catch enough interest so they never went public with it here. The prototype was sold to someone in Cali.
So from what I know, there is only 1 in the US. Overseas, I've seen 2.
One of FitFreak's finest, Joshowa, has owned both. lol

Just ordered some Endless rotors. Apparently no one carries them here in the States so I had to special order from Japan. The wait time is going to be 4-5 weeks though...

In other news, my ARC intake was sent out to my buddy to get polished. Once finished, he's going to install some custom titanium bolts, and replace the air filter with a brand new one from ARC.
As far as I know, this is the only original ARC Magic intake in the States. The first one that I remember hearing about years ago was a prototype made by Mackin Industries. Not sure what happened to that though.
Anyways, stay tuned!

Yes, I remember you. Yours was the prototype made by Mackin Industries right?
I dont really remember if it was made by Mackin Industries, it might be, but the guy that sold it to me said the same thing about being only one in the states lol.
Old picture, only difference is an Oddysey Battery and a Spoon Strut Bar now. Needs a repolish.

What is interesting to me is that you have a metal badge on your intake. Whereas I have a black decal. The black decal is found on just about 90% of arc intake, which is another reason I suspect the one you have is a prototype. That's pretty unique!
EDIT: Also, the front end of your intake looks a little different. Without seeing more pictures though, I can't verify.
