Hey Kevin,

heres a helpful DIY guide to follow
basically, gotta take the clip out of the front inner guard then reach up while pulling back the cover and replace the bulbs that way (it is basically what you need to do for headlight bulb replacement as well).

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...ght-bulbs.html

and yes vehicle was purchased from Tauranga (and was listed on trademe).

no real updates at this stage.

Been through a few sets of wheels already now but no pics
16x7 Rota Circuit 10's with bridgestone re540 semi slicks
15x7 Buddyclub P1's - which didn't clear the front brake caliper bracket

now sittin on some temporary wheels at the moment, but I am away in Korea visiting family for the christmas/new year break, so no updates until I get back - although I am actively keeping an eye out for some new rims!

I do also have a special package that was delivered just before christmas/before I left for Korea which contains my fully adjustable HKS hypermax compact suspension which is what will be being installed and giving it that drop it desperately needs once I return home!

hey guys and girls,

now im back in New Zealand from going to Korea!

heres a small update though

Lack of updates :\
Anyways.
Been a bit of a wheel whore, swapping out rims here and there.
I got some gunmetal grey 15x7 Buddyclub P1 (OG edition) with a +38 offset and they looked good, needed a minor refurb but didn't clear the front brake caliper brackets. (unfortunately I didn't get any pics with the buddyclubs on).
I also got some 16x7 Rota Circuit 10's, (replica mugen mf10's) which I was going to paint championship white NH-0 etc, but never got around to it and decided to get some 'genuine' wheels.
These did look very good though!
I now have settled on some 15x6.5" Wedsport TC005 in white with a +38 offset, these came in a container through Japanese Spares in Otahuhu and were in very very tidy condition. Came with 195/50/15 Michelin Pilot Precedas which were in good condition (and was also a bargain as they advertised these wheels with 195/60/15's and I wasn't happy about the profile size, but turned out ok, no major curbing or anything, fe w little handling marks, and paint tired here and there, but overall, mint white Japanese lightweight wheels with all original stickers intact and in good condition.

Still really needs a slam! Which will be coming within the next few weeks as I also purchased some HKS Hypermax III sport compact editions which are height and damper adjustable!
On Christmas eve, before I went overseas for my Christmas/new years break, I purchased my FIT a sphere round type R style gearknob.

more updates to come over next few weeks once I install the coilovers in and sort a few little accessorizing goods!

Hi
The wheels look great!
I'm keen on my factory fitted wheels. They're the same as your original set.
The gear knob is awesome, where from and how much?

I got it on special just before Christmas. I got one for my friend to use on his civic but he doesn't like it. Do you have a fit sport? Does it have the original gearknob? If you like, I could ask him if he would swap for your standard gearknob as he really liked mine, but I don't want to sell mine (he maybe interested in swapping for the one I gave him like my new one).

also if you interested in coilovers, let me know, as I have a set available for $500 (cusco zero II's).

I installed my HKS adjustables yesterday and brought my car way closer to the ground, along with a Japanese bolt on catback exhaust and now it sounds nice without being annoyingly loud. Photos of updates to come!

Did you put shorter/adjustable endlinks in the front?

Bit of an update;
Before I went off on holiday back home to Korea over the Christmas/New Years break, I recieved a package which was long anticipated. I purchased from trademe and had a bit of a bidding war on this package.
HKS Hipermax S-Compact, fully adjustable suspension, 40 point damper, height adjustable, no pillowballs, no camber adjustment. In fairly good condition, and using the usual HKS springs supplied in the Hipermax S-Compact kit, the spring rates are 6kg front, and 5kg rear. Fronts are inverted and have damper adjustment tabs on the bottom of the shocks (easier for adjustment as there is limited space in the top of the strut towers, the rears are damper adjustable with HKS pins that go in to the top of the struts which are easily accessible from the boot once the top hat covers are popped off. the rears are wound as low as they can go, the fronts still have a bit to go.

Drives and rides great, the difference is really night and day from stock suspension, and for some reason mine really looked higher than all the other JDM sport fits and NZ New sport Jazz's so its a huge difference in the looks department but regardless, I am stoked with the results.

Car jacked up and on the hoist for the removal of wheels/tyres + oem suspension + oem exhaust

one problem I encountered with suspension install was that when I first enquired on the listing on trademe, the guy responded and advised me that the vehicle these came off were using standard Swaybar Endlinks. I found this odd as most coilover contents sheets for the GD1/GD3 show there are another set. Following advise from the guy selling the coilovers, I thought it was everything I needed.

Turns out the standard OE endlinks are way too long, even at the height I recieved the goods in, so the vehicle the owner of the suspension was using, must not have been OEM endlinks.

So some brand new fully threaded and adjustable endlinks were purchased thanks to the boys at Autolign Albany and were cut down to length keeping some form of adjustability as they are threaded the whole length of the arms. Luckily it turned out to be a minor set back which was quickly resolved.

Once I returned from my trip, I also purchased a cat back bolt on exhaust which came off another GD3 from Strong For Honda off the Honda parts used accessories | NZ — Strong for Honda Accessory Shop website. It is a used item which was stripped from a damaged jdm fit, and it must've been on aftermarket suspension as signs show it was a little bit beat up from scraping or being too low. I will no doubt also have this problem now that my car is closer to the ground. Two piece kit, although the manufacturer I cannot confirm at this stage, it does however have a Jasma badge with a Jasma certificate number but the numbers have been scraped and are no longer identifyable anymore. If anyone has any clues on the brand or who this exhaust is made by, please let me know. Two piece bolt on catback system, one big muffler in the b pipe, and a longish rear muffler with tip on the c pipe.

started giving it a light polish with some autosol (just the rear muffler as that is the only part

finally found the identity for the exhaust, is a Fujitsubo (FGK) Power Getter catback system, certified by JASMA.

Thanks for the welcome rylees.
I am basically copying most of my photos etc over from my NZHondas forum build thread, so this is unofficially a build thread of my fit.
