I'm so glad that this "is it purple, is it blue??" saga has been sorted out. It definitely looks a lot darker than mine.
Congrats on being the first BBP Fit on the forum, cant wait to see more pics.

It's the mysterious colour changing Fit.
Ohh lol my bad...I think its my favorite color on the Fit!

With the right light, it can look bluish:

But yeah, it's a purple car. As soon as it stops raining I can go get some pics

A few close ups to see the sparkle when there's actually sun... haven't seen it in days now.

Poor soggy Fit.

Anyone knows the paint code for this Blackberry Pearl color?

My Black Amethyst Pearl is RP37P.

There is also a color named Dark Amethyst Pearl (PB74P). I have not seen it but it is supposed to be not so dark as BAP or BBP.

I was very surprised to take a close look at the sparkle in the showroom and see the distinct blue AND purple highlights

Blackberry Pearl is truly multifaceted! Thanks for all the pictures. BBP hasn't made it to the midwest yet.

I think it's time to change my screen name... found in my driveway about 3PM today:

Doesn't look like much in the shade, but everywhere that the sun touches the paint, it pops:

Glad that buying ordeal is over. I haven't had a regular car payment in over 15 years, as I prefer to buy them and fix them myself. Finally at the point that I'd rather NOT have to fix something and save the time for the toy cars. I just hope there's budget left for playing after the payments. Isn't that always the Catch 22?

Tomorrow: 300 mile roadtrip in a day-old Fit!

Congratulation with a new car. Now, take a lot of pictures of it and share with us.

I realy love that color! I have BAP and it is not so dark as this BBP color. You'll also got a two toned pearl, blue and violet. Can you find in the paint code in the manual or papers for the car anywere?

Tusen takk! I'm hoping to get some photos over the next few days on my trip out to west Texas, but I'll have to steal the camera from my wife. Haven't had time to sit still until about 7PM yesterday, and today I have to pack, do yard work, and try to watch the F1 before I hit the road. I've got a ton of photos of my other cars, so the Fit won't be any different. Especially since it's my only car with shiny paint...

Speaking of, I'll try to find the paint code today and post it.

Please take lots of photos under diverse conditions. Some of us are envious and STILL fitless. It seems that owners forget what "fitlessness" feels like after the first day!

Nice!
As far I have found out, this is a new paint color for Honda. Anybody that have seen this color on other Honda models? No Honda models in Europe come in this color at this time. The local Honda dealer had not even heard about this color before I mentioned it and showed him the picture of your car.
One of the mechanics first wanted a Jazz with BAP color like mine, and had ordered it in february when the news about the second BAP car was going to get here in October this year. But now that that BAP car is not going to arrive he would search more about this new BBP color and when it is going to be avaible in Norway. He will then be the second person in the northern part of Norway with a Jazz with sports styling...

Quite honestly, it's most likely the Premium Deep Violet Pearl color used on the new '08 JDM Fits. That's a new color as well, and the cars are built in the same factory, so it would make sense. Just take a look at the new JDM RS photogallery and you'll see it's pretty much dead on to the previous photos.
