First post! Hello everyone!

For some reason when I search for brake pads for a GE fit I find almost nothing. In my research it seems that all of the following cars have interchangeable brake pads:

Honda Civic CX ( 1993 - 2000 )
Honda Civic DX ( 1993 - 2008 )
Honda Civic EX ( 1993 - 2008 )
Honda Civic GX ( 1998 - 2008 )
Honda Civic HX ( 1996 - 2005 )
Honda Civic Hybrid ( 2003 - 2008 , 2008 - 2009 )
Honda Civic LX ( 1993 - 2008 )
Honda Civic MUGEN Si ( 2008 - 2008 )
Honda Civic Si ( 1993 - 1995 , 2008 - 2008 )
Honda Civic VX ( 1993 - 1995 )
Honda Civic Value Package ( 1999 - 1999 , 2004 - 2005 )
Honda Civic del Sol S ( 1995 - 1997 )
Honda Civic del Sol Si ( 1995 - 1997 )
Honda Civic del Sol VTEC ( 1994 - 1994 , 1997 - 1997 )
Honda Fit Base ( 2007 - 2009 )

So I can't figure out why for example a 2007 fit has a huge list of pads available and my 2010 has so few. Can I just order brake pads for one of these other vehicles, is it that simple? Or is there some reason that they won't work???

For pads, 91 CRX and 05 RSX (not type s) should work also... as they work for the GD... and these in your post seem right, first time i heard the mugen civic was one of them tough

 

Only real "problem" would be fitment into the calipers. I'm pretty sure there are substitutes that work for a GE.

The GD Fit/Jazz can reportedly use EK Civic brake pads, for instance.

 

Are GD3 and GE8 brake pads interchangeable?
