help with eibach install

I'm in the middle of installing a pro-kit, I 've got three springs done, however; the left front is giving me trouble. I felt the axel come out of the manual transmission or the axel came out of the wheel hub, The right side came out, but I was able to turn the brake rotor and slide it back in, the left side, I'm not able to position the knuckle right and bolt it to the strut. Should I disconnect the ball joint and tie-rod? Any help will do.

Be care carefull not to move the axel when installing the springs, from what I can figure out, the inner driver's side joint has jacked up some how. I can spin the collar connected to the transmission independant from the axel going to the brake rotor,as I turn the collar,I can feel the splines from the axel engage to the transmission, but something is not letting the axel slide in, I'm lacking 1/2 inch to bolt up the strut to the knuckel.

the 3 bearings inside the boot are not aligned properly. You might have to open it up and re align them.

actually happened to me too. The drivers side axle popped out on my spring install (tanabe gf210). It actually popped out 2x. the first time it fell out i just pushed it and it went back in so i continued to put the spring on the shock. 2nd time it fell out, it took me and my lil brother an hour to get it back in. Just be patient u will get it back in. I wouldn't open the boot since u gotta repack it and everything. SAme thing happened to rcantu but he was patient and got it back in also.

I'm an impatient fool! Actually, I was scared I would break it. Not that I can bend steel...But still...Figured the boot would rip. Figured the bearings would pop out and flop in the boot or something. I just figured it would be easier to slide the boot off.

Got it fixed. I took off the dust boot and the axel fell out. I still had the tie-rod and ball joint still attached, about 10 min. and some grunts trying to get the 3 bearings to stay in place, I finally slid it into place. The car rides great.Paid $197 without shipping at Bilstein shocks, Bilstein PSS, Koni, BOGE, Eibach, K&N and other name brand suppliers.
