Anyone regret having aftermarket springs w/ no shocks?
I really want to lower the Fit but with no after market shocks I'm very hesitant. I don't want to sacrafice ride comfort and learned it the hard way with a previous civic. Any thoughts?

I am very happy with my Tanabe GF's......I too learned the hard way with a Civic and H&R springs. The Tanabes are perfect with the stock shocks. Just don't do the Tanabe DF series. They seem to lower the car too much and I believe are stiffer. The GF's are just right....not to mention I drive in MA with deep snow and lots of frost heaves/pot holes...Good luck

Im running Skunk2's and i would really like to change the shocks and struts when some actually come out but for now the ride quality is fine. Its not that harsh so i feel fine using the car as a DD and at the same time if i want to throw it around a bit i can still do so.

I don't have my Fit lowered, but like most other's,I had a bad experience with my lowered Integra.I would say save your money and buy them as a set,but it's your choice.Just remember, anytime you do 1 thing to a car(performance wise),you USUALLY have to do something to counter what you just did. It's the Ying/Yang theory. Good Luck on whatever you choose.

and which springs do you use? If I can get 20k out of the stock struts and shocks someone will make aftermarket ones
