Tanabe GF210 w/ Tokico HP shocks

I installed my gf210 2 weeks ago does it prevents the car to be bouncy? i've research about having it to be stock replacement, but i also heard that they are better than oem shocks. i was wondering if anyone have this setup? or know someone with this set up. or any aftermarket springs w/ tokico hp shocks... how do they feel? thanks...

i dont recall seeing any threads on anyone using the tokicos. I dont know much about them and how long it would last on the GF spring set up. I dont know why i am posting (just to let you know someone is reading your thread ) I would just go with the T1R dampers when it comes to changing time. My stock shocks on the GFs are still running strong. I think i got around like 15k-19k miles on it. I dont remember when i installed it

HP's are the blue's right? those aren't much better than stocks.
maybe 10-15% stiffer if you can feel anything from wat i've
read.

you want to get adjustable dampers.

The Fit is a little bouncy no matter what. Doubt you can get rid of that.
Its due to the short wheel base and lighter body weight.

Good luck & hope the Tokicos will last. Those people I know who used them on Civic/Integra didn't like them that much. Plus they didn't last for that long with just regular sport springs.

So hope they've improved after all these years.

Somone on the forum has these! I remember reading a thread a while back and a member picked up the tokico shocks when they first came out. They said that they were just got oem replacements, and werent anything special. Id save up for the T1R shocks. I'll probably end up getting T1R shocks too. But I mean for an extra 2-300 bucks, you can get a set of coilovers.

I believe the member you are referring to is "radareclipse"

Here is the thread where he himself said he was disappointed in them (last page)... if you are going to buy shocks just save up for the T1R's... just my 2 cents

I'm here. Haven't been on in a while and I just came across this reference. I can tell you first hand to save your money and don't buy the Blue Tokico's. No better than stock!!!!! I will sell you mine if you just have to have them. Put mine on and took them off within days. I think I have only the front struts as I used something else for the back.
