What is the best spring kit with factory ride and lowest drop?

I need a new set of springs, now I know there are manufacturer numbers/specs on their drop heights, but I am riding on Tein S-techs and my car is WAY too low.. They state a 1.8fr/1.3rr drop and I think its more like 2.0fr/1.5rr. My front wheels are tucked with no finger gaps.

So whats best? what are your opinions?

Skunk2?
Tanabe GF210?
Eibachs?

I did some research for a while before buying springs. I wanted small drop and the best ride quality considering this is a daily driver, in fact I wasn't concerned at all with handling, I just wanted it to ride nice and get rid of a little wheel gap. After looking at springs rates and claimed drop I decided to go with Progress springs. They are rated for a small drop (they actually dropped a bit more then I was expecting) but the ride is nice, especially considering I'm on stock struts and springs. IMO the car is a little bit LESS bouncy then stock driving around town, bumps in the road you fell more because its stiffer but its one bump and the car is flat, it doesn't continue to bounce around after the bump. The handling is improved alot, it stays flat through corners, quick jerks of the steering wheel don't feel like the car is twisting back and forth on the chassis, no crazy noises, no rubbing on stock Sport alloys.

Review may be a bit premature considering I put them on yesterday and haven't hit the highway or anything with them on yet. But no complaints so far and I read alot of good reviews on them.

some pics with the drop.... https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...ic-thread.html

I plan on getting the Progress Springs with the Progress rear sway bar, since both add up to little less then $300.00. But I'm undecided as to go this route or save up for coilovers.

My greatest fear is having a blown shock. Does anyone know how long a OEM shock and oem spring will last normally?

If the ratio of "wear and tear" is not that big from OEM setup to aftermarket spring setup with OEM shock then I'll go with just springs...but still...I'm very worried about that shock.

How much are stock shocks anyways?

i just installed my progress springs yesterday. IMO its the perfect drop. not low, tires not tucking, but there is no fender gap. the car should have looked like this from the factory.
as for ride quality, i cant tell a difference when hitting bumps, but when turning there is definatly less body roll.

No one with Skunk2 springs able to reply? or Eibachs? I know that the Skunk2 kit says its a 1.5fr/1.0rr drop.. much less than the Tein kit.. but how is the ride and sag?

How much does the Progress kit sag after 6+ months of use?

I have DF210s. The front has about 1.5 - 2 finger gap while the back only has 1 finger gap. See in my sig below.

lol... I do like the look, but I don't live in a place that has decent roads like Cali... Calgary Canada is a place for big trucks, and a lot of snow in the winter.

oh alright. yeah sprint springs are for you. VERY mild drop, you should last everywhere you go.

haha cali roads are crappy man. pot holes everywhere, construction every where you look. and debris everywhere.

Actually ya I remember how some of the freeways were. I was in LA last fall for work cruisin in the rental mustang.. pretty choppy in some places. Do you know how the ride on the Sprint springs is?
