I just emailed them for info... there's no detail at all on the sight yet.
Since we really don't have any options for ugraded dampers yet, I'm assuming they are intended for stock ones. Do you guys think the stock ones would be up to the task?

link.... Ground Control Suspension Systems

they have been out for a long time. they are $450 shipped. im thinkin they wont have a lot of drop, probably like the megan coilovers and the others that dont relocate the mounting point for the sway bar endlinks.

its possible that they have alot of drop. as far as i know most if not all sleeve and spring coilovers are height adjustable. i think ground controls can be lowered up to four inches... some one correct me if im wrong.

really.. hmm where did i go wrong to miss the thread about them released.

meh, customs springs will do.

i just want to tire tuck a little more in the front. but really its for my rears. so when i go on road trips i can raise the back a little higher, so i can actually hold luggage.

Does any one have more info on these coilovers?

What is the drop range for these coilovers? What is the least drop and what is the max drop for these?

How is the ride quality?

Just throwing some questions out there...I'm very interested in coilover setup over just springs...especially at this price.

now i dont know everything about these specifically but i know that from what i looked at last night majority of ground controls coil over conversions can be 0-3 inches of drop. and the ride should be a decent quality, the only part of this that is actually ground control in the sleeves and spring seats. the springs them selves are eibachs. also keep in mind that this is not a full coil over set up. this is 4 springs, 4 sleeves, and 4 spring seats. there is no damper included in this kit.

that is exactly what im saying! ground controls and koni yellows make for the best sreet/auto-x set up. why cant koni pick up on something good and go with it?!? i personally would rather run koni yellows and ground controls than any of the coil over kits that are being offered for our cars right now.

Honda has been known for good struts. You can slam a Ef, Eg, Ek on stock struts and theyll last a while.
Not so sure about the Fits though. Only real reason why Id suggest swapping the shocks out is that its a new car. Hahaha. No need to be THAT cheap. GC's themself are a pretty penny.

Im running GC with the race kit springs on my Mx-6. Matched with Tokico Illuminas.
Its a stiffy ride.

but your rocking 16x7 45 offset with 205/45?/r16 tires?

im rockin 17x7.5 205/40/r17 45 offset. i suppose thats the same, i think mines a bit bigger. when i have a full load in my car my car is beyound tucking. almost hitting rim tucking....but it hits my rear bumper, even though i have sanded the whole lip of the bumper down it still hits for some reason.

im almost certain any strut will not last expecially on a EF. trust me i have one and the shocks went out just with springs on the car.

I have been running GC's on my fit now for some time and love them but am still been wating on shocks and struts.
If you use the serach feature you can see some pics in the any one want free gc's, and you can get them in any hight and stiffness they have a larg selection of srpings to chose from and with the way the rear mount you can by and diffrent set of rear springs for auto cross and swap them out in about fifteen min's. and if they would post pics from the bay area spring comparison you could see them their but they have not posted any pics yet. their is also a review of the springs in the spring comparison thread.
hope that helps some of you.
