why? i doubt you're making crazy horsepower to need the crazy brakes. stick with the oem setup. just get good pads (hp+ or hps) and rotors (brembo blanks or brembo slotted. personal preference, really).
don't worry about a big brake setup. you'll be okay.

I hate it when people associate braking power with hosepower

Braking is just dependent on the speed you're going

Braking from 80-30mph in a 90hp car is the exact same as braking in that same car with 500hp

It's not like you're on the gas and braking at the same time...

With that said, the factory Fit brakes are sufficient enough for most people that don't know their braking limits, with some good pads and decent rotors, you'll be overbraking your street tires easily

If you do feel you need better brakes, Spoon twin-block calipers are an easy upgrade for extra braking power, a pretty much bolt-on 4 piston caliper kit from the factory 1 piston

this is true. but also, the weight of the car is also a factor... and seeing as the fit doesn't weigh that much, then big brake kits imo are worthless and just a waste of money. but if you want to spend that money on it, go for it.

just assume it's on a track like tsukuba long. chances are a full bolt on fit won't even reach 100 til the end straight... and even still it's questionable. lol. the fit is a slow car. it doesn't accelerate. and thru the course the fit won't even be at speeds where a big brake kit is needed, due to its lack of horsepower. an aggressive pad / rotor combo would suffice.

that's where my logic comes from. and you can't say it's incorrect, because it isn't.

but good argument nonetheless.

If you are looking for improvement in braking maybe have a look at some after market brake pads. I have been running upgraded front and rear pads and they give a very noticeable boost to stopping power.

If you are just after the look, well that is a different story.

Illusive has a full set (front and back) for sale for a VERY good price

To answer the question he originally posted though. From what it seems I have seen the Fit can use BBKs from the EK.

Correct? Pretty sure that the HKS Fit that was on the cover of Super Street a few months back had Project Mu's from an EK.

Yes, The HKS Fit did have Project Mu 4pot BBk. They make the kit for the Fit, not just using a EK kit.
I just got my Project Mu kit in last week, just wainting till this weekend to install it. Will post pics
Ya for daily driving the BBK is a overkill, But I have Autocross my car a couple times now and know this would help to cut time, Plus I am getting the HKS Turbo kit, so will need alittle more.

The closest I found was the 91 CRX rear brakes but considerable machining was required. A&J's kit is easier and quite good.
For others: braking is not the same for every vehicle because of the weight and weight distributions. The brakes for a Fit are failures at stopping a loaded S-10. Or a Caddy CTS.
I put discs on my Fit and a customers Fit mainly due to our dislike for servicing drum brakes. Idiot devices. Cheap but idiotic. (you may notice EuroAsian rears are discs. They drive hard and need them there.) I also tried trailer towing too.
The rear discs do drive nicer and certainly should offer better performance in our mountains but only us Fit Freaks will have them.
