what coils for my Tokicos ?
Just wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions for some coilovers to go with the Tokico HP's I want to buy.
I talked to the good people at ASPEC, and they have some called-K-Bee..
any info or opinions?
here's my issue though... whatever I do, I do not want to change the height of my ride. I want to keep it at the stock height. (wheel rubbing issues)
So any and all help would be appreciated!
What else is out there that would work?
thanks, Dave

its a coilover sleeve. kinda like this
Ground Control Suspension Systems
i know its not a fit, but thats what a sleeve looks like.
i mean since you already have the shocks, you might as well get the GC for being able to raise and lower your car. the sleeve is kinda like condom haha, you just slip it over the shock like a spring, but this way you can adjust the height of your ride
but if you havnt gotten the shocks...then buy the skunk2 full coilovers.

if the HP's had higher damp rate (or adjustable like D-Specs) you can
go low but on those HP's probably wise not to go too low.
they're only sold as stock replacements with a little more sportiness, i
think. wont know until one tries it though.

If you want to stay at stock ride height, why bother with coil springs?
I have the front Tokico's, and as much as I anticipated a gain in valving, they are pretty close to stock performance. I would recommend rethinking your goals.
If you have rubbing issues, address them so you can play dirty in the sandbox. How do you have rubbing issues with a 15" wheel/tire?
