Are Tein Basic Dampers good for Street/Daily Driving?
Looking to replace my Tein S-techs with a fully system.. I'm curious to know if the Basic Damper system by Tein is good for daily driving/street use.
The thought of just upgrading the stock struts/shocks to Tokico HPs crossed my mind, but I don't know if that is a good enough upgrade. I don't want to Auto X, I just want a better ride and the adjustable height capability of the Tein Basics is appealing.

problem with tein basics and a lot of those lower-end coilovers is that
it adjust height while it adjusts the preload. not only do you risk spring
rattle, you shorten the overall stroke of the damper when you lower.
it might be better just getting some shocks for your springs that you
already have. if i was running lowering springs and wanted a cheap
upgrade, i would do shocks.
the only coilovers that i know that are sub-$1k that adjust height
correctly are wat im running.
