how do i get the rear springs out?

i'm installing some lowering springs right now. the front is done. the instructions i used for the springs i found on here just says to remove the 14mm bolt and the spring will just come out. well, i got the bolt out, and the perch dropped like it's supposed to, but it doesn't seem like enough to get the spring out. i tried pulling down a little but nothing.

anyone help asap?

if you get the bolts out... the rear thing that holds both the springs should drop right out.

is your tire off? have someone step on the lug studs and the rear torsion beam should drop and you can slip the spring out. going in should be much easier because the spring is physically shorter

yeah. pull down on hte tire to unload the suspension. if the tire is off, have someone step on the lugs/brake assembly to lower it. the spirngs should come out after that..

It's due to the torsion beam setup. You need to jack up both sides and unbolt both sides at the same time. Then both springs should just fall out. Shouldn't need to pry them out or anything.
